The Smurf and Noddy bendy toys in the pictures were kindly lent to us by local resident Jane. These were painted by a number of residents in Stanwell often with the whole family getting involved. If anyone has photos of these toys or more information please feel free to pass it on. I'd love to know what the going rate for painting a Smurf was.

I am a stanwell resident and have loved to see this mural progress. I have been round to take lots of photos myself.
What will happen to the hoardings afterwards?
Can they be displayed as permanent art somewhere in Staines to show the more postivie side of Stanwell?
How about a project like this for kids who have been caught spray painting graffiti?
When does the rebuilding work start?
